engine steaming

Hey guys so I changed my coolant expansion tank cause it had a seal leak. Now after the replacement the car has a lot of steam coming from that section. But there's no leaks? I had coolant splash everywhere when I removed the tank. But I'm sure now after 12 hours it'd have dried up by now? Cheers.

Yeah its burning off. One thing that may help is to turn on your AC. Gets everything off the fan. Or do a engine wash.

Lightly hose down the engine bay is what I would suggest. Coolant typically lingers as not all of its water.

Is it okay to get water in the engine bay?

I typically power wash my whole engine bay after applying degreaser. Loll.

It looks brand new even with 103k on the clock!!!

Hey guys forgot no posted this!. Yeah it took a while to calm down. You won't believe it but even waited over night for it to dry up but still had steam. My neighbourhood to me best to go take it for a drive to air it out as well as coolant is quiet think and sticky and won't evaporate. Anyway issue completely resolved.
Approximate everyone's input.
