Hexon Turbos

Anyone running the Hexon Turbos? There newer model RR550 look pretty good at $2480 USD delivered (about $3300). Slightly smaller wheels than RB's but fairly close in specs for the money. They seem to have really good feedback from the top tuners in the states too.
Seems like a good option if your not going for absolute power, and a cheaper option over Rb & VTT.
Any feedback welcome

Do they offer RHD turbo housings?

If not you may have to wait a few weeks and have your oem housings sent over and built and sent back?

In the 3 years I've been on this forum I havent heard of an aussie owner with their turbos, but they seem to have pretty good reviews. Having said that I also believe they use chinese internals which most likely is why their offerings are much cheaper

TBH personally I would pay more for tried and proven RB's, as the labour costs involved to remove rebuild reinstall if you had issues would far outweigh any savings is things were to go wrong...

They offer RHD yes. There doesn't appear to be a core charge, and i wouldn't mind having to wait a few weeks for them. Rb's are the best turbo option in my mind as well, but at a cost. I would be installing myself so no labor cost would be associated in my case, but something to keep in mind for others.
I don't have any issues with (quality) manufactures from China or Taiwan as almost all automotive parts are manufactured in these countries anyway. Even if designed or assembled in Us, Aus etc, most of the parts are manufactured in asian countries.
Its just another option out there, and looks like a good one from what ive seen on US forums, i think i even seen Wedge saying positive words about these turbos and how good they are to tune with

True nanynay? I added the turbo's to my cart, then added the postage option, and there was no mention of core charge? How much is the core charge? Thanks

Yeh I have also read good reviews on US forums. I think they are South American based for their R&D but could be wrong. Good to have another option

Will they be priced similar to RBs or cheaper?

Are there an local AUS turbo places doing any highflows/bolt ons for the N54?

I rather just deal locally and not worried about shipping across 1/2 the world and warranty issues...
