Best place for injector install?
Not for my car, but referring a family member. I will be away for the weekend, so any suggested locations to bring your own injectors and spark plugs to have installed / coded? '10 E90 335i.

i'm 90% sure you can drive without them coded it may not run great but it should run. So in theory you can get it coded later. Also you only need to replace one per dzenno and code that one. You don't have to do a full bank and certainly don't have to do all 6. I have 5 good used injectors from an 07 if you just want one injector and send back the new ones. New they are like $1200 which is cray cray. I bought all 6 as I thought I had to on the wife's car, I also was in a rush as we only had 2 cars at the time. NEVER AGAIN!

My uncle needs them on his 2010 335. I'll probably have him order the Intermotor injectors, decoupling elements and OEM spark plugs. Should be around 8-900.

rockauto has index 11+(?) so they are revised.
You only need to replace 1. You can drive on a injector without coding. Won't be perfect but it's doable until you get it coded. |

I can code. I'm located in Boston, MA and Wilton, CT.
If you buy the index 12 injector form RockAuto, you will need to replace all 6 at the same time. They use a completely different technology and firing pattern (peizo vs solenoid). Your cylinders will run unevenly (possibly burn a valve) if you only replace one. Coding is a must to use an index 12 injector.
