Any one out there who can advise.

had wheel alignment done but the wheel pulls to the right. shop reckon can't adjust camber,
how would i rectify this,
any advise would be great.

When you say pulls to the right, are you saying the steering wheel is not centre? Or is the steering wheel dead centre and the car is tracking right?

If you let me know which one it is, I may be able to point you in the right direction

Phwoar, -1.58 of camber on your right wheel vs -.42? The camber thrust should make it pull to the left. Minor camber adjustments can be made by pulling the alignment pins in the strut tower (common mod you can search it) but pulling the pins wont correct that much of a deviation.

So the car pulls to the left when the steering wheel is straight? And to drive straight the wheel has to be pointed to the right?

Have you done any recent suspension mods? Or something must be wrong with your suspension arms or strut. Have you hit any big potholes recently or hit a kerb? Any of the suspension arms bent on the right side?

Yep as I thought, its all from the camber. Your wheels are perfectly straight but the uneven camber is steering your car. Removing the stock alignment pins will only give you about 0.3 degrees of adjustment and people normally have to install aftermarket parts to get it to 1.5 deg. There's probably something broken/bent on the right front suspension.

I agree, if your car has been in an accident then chances are something's bent, take it to Lachlan at WA Suspensions and tell him Matt sent you, he will help you out

Back when i was living in perth, the only place i went to after trying many places is Kerry Wade for alignment and track setup. Bridgestone tyre center in Bentley. Very knowledgable and easy to deal with.

I'm not the original owner .so it may have hit a pot hole in the past . Would a new strut fix this issues or perhaps need to replace upper and lower control arms to?

You'll have to physically inspect the strut and control arms and their mounting points and see if anything looks damaged.

Great chance to upgrade to M3 control arms to get better front end grip! Otherwise if its the strut thats broken theres usually people on eBay selling their stock suspension for cheap

if you find a damaged front sussy components i will have a plethora of stuff available for cheap shortly as i've upgraded all m driveline brakes to m3 items and will be selling the 335i stuff

Would like to post my wheel alignment results to see if the gurus can pick out whether or not the shop has done a good job or not.
The shop put it down as "minor tidy ups" and could not really see much wrong with the current values.

The car was pulling left slightly, I did embarrassingly hit a curb (15-20kmph) (nice rim rash) on the front passenger side LH.

Confirmed by the shop that nothing was bent (suspension and control arm).

All in all the car does seem to drive straighter now. Placebo also it could be.

Yep they've done a good job. Even values on both sides, nothing looks out of the ordinary.

Apparently the next trick if the pull was still bad was to swap out the front tyres from left to right vice versa.

Will get it checked out upon doing the coilover installation.

Thats a really good alignment! everything is spot on pretty much. if only they had shops that good in sydney. the last shop I went to didn't even touch my rear camber.

I had a few alignments done by road and race performance located at rydalmere, he's awesome!

thanks i might finally get around to halving my -2.5deg of rear camber now i have somewhere to goto.

there was a 3 week wait at heismans when i went. dunno why i expected to get an alignment done on the spot....
