Meyle HD sway bar link horror stories?

Going to be replacing a big chunk of my front suspension; I'd considered getting the Meyle HD tie rods and sway bar links, but after the bad reports from some about the HD tie rods popping out after low mileage, I decided I'd go with the known quantity and get Lemforder.

Has anyone had similar problems with the HD sway bar links? Looking at the Meyle diagrams for the HD parts, the sway bar links seemed better designed to me than the tie rod ends anyway, but as they say, "once bitten, twice shy..." I figure I should at least ask around and see if anyone has had particularly bad experiences with the HD sway bar links instead of just going with my eyeballs vs. those of BMW engineers.

I have had them on mine for little over a year now. They have help up well considering the harsh winter, very bad roads and dozen track events.

I have had meyle HD sway end links for about 13k with seemingly no issues. I also have Meyle HD tie rods and I do have some popping when turning the steering wheel at low speeds, but I have no idea where it's coming from. Maybe it is this tie rod ends. durn.

I got 15k out of my last set before they started clunking. The boot around the ball joint was ripped and the ball joint was dead. Lifetime warranty thru FCP at least.

Interesting. I have a clunk in my suspension and haven't investigated where it's coming from yet. 13k on Meyle HD tie rods and front sway bar end links. I wonder if I should just replace with Lemforder parts.

Did you end up figuring out if that's where that came from?
