However being the cheap ass I am, tried to see if I could get a discount.

They are currently priced at $91.41 USD shipped each which equates to approximately $125 AUD. However, I've managed to secure the price down to $100 AUD + free pickup if you're in Melbourne, otherwise +$10 shipping anywhere else in Australia.

Shipping to Australia will take about 2-3 days using DHL

Umm you guys forget there's shipping involved + paypal/credit card fees/conversion etc
It's not exactly cheap shipping from the US.

After I add shipping it ends up being ~$122 USD to get one to Australia which ends up being close to $170 AUD

If i buy 5 it's still not cheaper as it ends up being closer to $120 AUD each.

oh true - maybe also check forward shipping as ecs provide free shipping in the us for any order over 200

True that. I'm kinda ceebs doing freight forwarder - would rather do a clean transaction direct with just 1 payment so nothing goes wrong!

Actually, ECS are having trouble with their shipping calculator.

It might be worth getting them to confirm shipping on +5 units, as it may not be 100% accurate.

I went to order some air vents and small odds and ends from ECS the other day. Parts came to $350USD and postage for the 4 items totaled $587US. Clearly I purchased elsewhere.

IT issues, shipping and ordering problems, now a malfunctioning shipping calculator... ECS is having their share of problems. Upside is there are plenty of other company's to buy from
