Anyone local experience a 30ba code (DME Failure)?

29CF Misfirings, cylinder 3
30BA DME digital motor electronics, internal failure
29CC Misfirings, several cylinders

Apparently a somewhat common issue and fix, however I'm not comfortable enough soldering my ECU.

Anyways, if you have had it fixed, where did you go? I'm reading people just bring it to a TV repair shop..

German Auto Werks were doing one last time I was there. Don't know how much they charge though.

ive repaired one, i have a hot air rework station. its not to diffucult. im up in central wi tho..
