Jehnert XE200 flatline install question
Hi, I have a 2009 335i e93 conv. I have the HIFI factory stereo. I have a Jl Audio Xd600/6 running Helix Match components up front, rear stock speakers, and I had Earthquake SWSXi 2 ohm 8" subs under the seats ( which sounded horrible) but I blew them. I also have a 10" sealed Kicker box in trunk running off a Jl Audio XD600/1 mono amp. A technic harness was used to install as well as the Technic sub wire connectors / adapter rings for Earthquakes. Anyway I am thinking about getting the Jehnert XE200 Flatline 8" underseat subs.
How would an installer install the Jehnert XE200 Flatline 8" subs? Meaning do they need a filter or crossover on the subs? How do I set the JL Audio crossover on the xd600/6 ( they would be on channels 5/6) ? Thanks, Gen |

You don't want the sub and underseats playing the same frequencies. It'll lead to cancellations. Also, the Jehnerts are not designed to play frequencies below say 50Hz. If you do, you might blow them. You need Fmods, or a sound processor.
