Small review: CF pillar trim
Being obsessed with the CF weave, and seeing this thread here, http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=901131&page=7 (shout out to Dylan for the heads up) I decided to check out Bimmian's CF pillar trim product.
The shipping was pretty swift and arrived very well protected and secure. The 2 trim pieces come with a complete backing of 3M adhesive; however, this is not your general double sided tape (red back). It is much thinner and a clear color across the entire backing. It took a few seconds to toss on after confirming fitment with backs unpeeled. Here are a few pictures for your interest. Honestly, at first I was like 'meh' about them. They seemed kind of tacky. However, after a day - I have to say, I kind of have no regrets. The quality on these are actually very, very impressive. The weave is flawless and the clear style coating is wax like smooth. This is no cheap looking wrap, it looks fantastic and authentic. Besides, worse case they are easy to remove (I'd imagine with heat and force). But for now, it seems to compliment my CF interior and exterior accents. Worth noting, if you're interested in these, just ensure you clean the glass surface before use for best results.

I think it looks better with them off. I just don't like the way they sit on glass it looks flat no beveled edge.

You're right. I was thinking if they were flush with the trim to the left it might look more sleek and streamlined.

i dont like how it breaks up the gloss black/tint look on the windows. you've created a break in the flow. overall it fits well and if you like it thats all that matter.

Hope it doesn't yellow. Prefer the stock look imo.

This screams fake CF from a mile away, looks terrible IMO.
I see from your description that these are actual CF, they still look like fake wrap, that's disturbing. |

How did you do the black window trim? I hate the stock look of the window trim.
