11.6 1/4 time slips - What a lovely morning : )

Morning guys. Posting a couple of time slips from last nights runs!
My car is FBO with E85 flash (E45 mix), Auto, Stock turbo's, no meth, 07' 335i with 96,000km's. No custom tuning.
The 11.6 second run was done launching in 1st gear (as my tranny slipped launching from 2nd, to much torque).
Was a hot night up at the track also, 11.5's maybe in cooler conditions?
Ignore reaction time as it was just a test & tune night, no shootouts, my R/T is normally almost 0.
Anyway, very happy with my runs and the car is consistent at the track, ran 3 x 11.8's, 1 x 11.7 & 1 x 11.6

Nice to see someone has finally run some true drag radials!!

TBH I'm sure you're the 1st guy to do so (in Australia) and I'm confident they're responsible for your consistent times (plus I'm sure you know what you're doing as a driver!)

Did the car hook up nicely? Does it still wheelspin with the drag radials??

Nice runs bro - man I wish I can run an 11 one of these days. I'm in the process of acquiring stage 2 LPFP and plan to run e50 blend. Will head out to the tracks in Melbourne in a couple of weeks. Only thing though I don't have slicks nor do I have LSD, I'm sure that will slow my 60 foot

Hey mate! Yeah it hooked up well with the slicks, but it used to hook up fairly well with the standard 255x19's as well. Im still trying to find the right tyre pressure for optimum grip and trap speed.
3 minutes after a run i would check tyre pressure and set them to 17psi, it worked fairly well but it hurts trap speed. Im going to try about 20-22psi next time and hopefully get that 11.5! lol.

There's guys out there running good times without an lsd, or slicks, as long as you can hook up without wheel spinning much you will be fine. Try launch in 2nd gear

Thanks Sock, i will keep pushing lol. I know for sure it had an 11.4 or 11.5 in it last night, but the transmission slipped bad when launching in 2nd gear. Slipped from 2nd into 3rd at only 3500-4000rpm, but it still ran an 11.7!
So after that happened i just stuck with starting in 1st gear again which is definitely slower.
Ive just got the 3.5 bar Tmap sensor & adapter ready for the new inlets that are coming in 4 weeks, i then can do a custom tune and aim for 25psi!!!
Imagine running a 10 second pass in a stock turbo 335i

Wheels are not slipping, but transmission is!! Not sure if its ECU related, clutch packs, or converter.
Its to much torque for the stock trans

Do you care about stock turbo longevity? Or are you planning to upgrade turbos in the near future?
