Led rings for retrofit

I want to install some led rings firstly on my friends e90 pre lci halogen headlamp, then on my xenon headlights lci.

What's best led rings to use in terms of brightness and reliability , I am on a budget so need to be fairly priced.

You should get in contact with 888Concept I got my rings from them, havent installed yet but they seem to be great quality at a good price

The pre-lci halogens may be a bit tricky. As far as I know:

A) they don't make rings for the outer light, it's too big and not a complete circle

B) they are much harder to open than lci lights

Pic for reference.

I remember reading a thread here somewhere of someone doing it. He used rings for an LCI halogen, which is probably the closest you'll get, but it didn't contour the bulb reflector perfectly. From far probably looks fine, but maybe not so we'll up close.

Search it and see. He had pics.

Yeah the orion v4 are the circle style but that company I mentioned also sell the circle style. It may be worth contacting them about rings for your pre-lci halogens.

I have pre-lci xenons and have opened one up, working on next one soon. Definitely a pia but if you have the right tools its not too bad
