My New E92 2008 335i M Sport
Hi All,
I have recently purchased a used 2008 335i M sport 6MT with 46k on the clock in Sparkling Graphite. The usual spec with the following extras: BMW professional Nav BMW Individual audio system Heated Leathers I have to say that the BMW audio system is amazing. Best sound system I have ever heard (in my opinion). The colour is also fantastic! Full Service history and was used only as a weekend car by the two previous owners hence the low mileage. The car drives perfect. Well looked after by previous owners. The only problem/situation I have is the engine oil that is used as descibed in this post: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1167633 Any help on this would be appreciated. Other than that pure perfection!!! Cheers Last edited by FHE92; 02-02-2016 at 05:33 PM.. |

It's an exceptional colour, don't know whey they dropped it.
If you didn't get answer to the oil question I use Castrol Edge 0w30, that was the recommendation from Castrol. |

It seems that everyone is using 0w30 or 5w30. I hope the 10w60 tws castrol in the engine now did not do damage. I hope it doesnt start using oil/leaking after I change it over! |

Although it seems you're okay, I would, as some advised by some guys, in the other thread change it. But I would also contact Castrol and see what they say. Hopefully this will provide you with peace of mind. |

Maybe that's a question for Castrol. I put my plate in their oil selector again, and it was only Edge, 0w30 they recommended. Technical advice is offered here. http://www.castrol.com/en_gb/united-...ontact-us.html |
