Chrome plating LCI finishing rods?

I decided to live with this non-M bumper and I'm thinking about

chrome plating these parts to color-match the kidney grilles.

Is this Yay or Nay?

EDIT: it's 'finisher' rods not finishing rods..

in matte black or cf wrap them

To each his own, but yeah, I'd do matte black...in fact I did. My car is deep sea blue with a shadowline grille, but I still think black would be better on yours as well.

Do yourself a favor and get the Msport bumper. They're all over Ebay.

I'll try matte black for now but I think I'll eventually get the m-sport bumper..
