Figured I'd share an instant karma story with you guys!

So this morning I pull into a busy gas station behind a truck. He parks in the MIDDLE of the pump and I can't fit. So I ask him politely:

Me: Sir would you mind pulling up a bit, so I can fit?
Him: Sounds like a "you" problem, not a "me" problem....

So I literally parked all ridiculous (backed in rear-facing the pump like a "T")

About 2 minutes later we both finished up pumping has around the same time and BAM he hits his window with an open palm and starts swearing. He peers over at me and says:

Him: Can I borrow your cell phone?
Me: For what?
Him: I locked my keys inside the car and need to call a locksmith.

I get back in my car and as I'm getting in I say "That sounds like you YOU problem, not a ME problem" and I drive away.... I almost felt bad, but I didn't.

People in OC are generally nicer too..I grew up in Brea/Fullerton area. Way to stick it to him lol.

In my experience a lot of OC people are usually fake nice. But overall it's a friendly area, I agree.

Very nice! My wife locked herself out of her 135i a few days ago, mobile phone, wallet and purse all inside the car. Not fun!

although funny and justified, i would have likely called the locksmith for him and let someone or something else dish the karma.

perhaps it would have taught him to handle things better in the future instead of perpetuating the negativity.

another way to look at it is that his negativity turned you negative and he's really the one that pulled the win.

additionally, note that i said i would call for him. i don't believe you should let anyone touch your belongings unless you don't mind losing them.

of course that's just my opinion. perhaps he really needed that. karma is funny like that.
