Fog Light Failure Warning

Just recently got a new bodykit on my 2007 e90 335i and when the new front bumper was installed I had the front fog lights removed. I never used them here in Australia and the new bumper didnt have room for them. Now everytime I turn the car on I get
1) Fog light front left failure!
2) Fog light front right failure

Then when I turn the car off I get another warning that the fog lights arent working. I've tried holding the BC + odometre button to reset the warning lights but there isnt an option for the fog lights, any other ideas besides taking it to BMW and getting charged a fortune?

I think you need to code out the fog lights for the error to go away! You can find someone local or get it remotely coded

i believe you code the error check away.. I think the app: carly for bmw can do it.. with the apropiate cable or OBD dongle..

Can anybody confirm this? I have the same issue and will purchase the app now if its true, just dont want to waste $50
