This post has me worried (CD/MP3 track display)
This post has me a little worried:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...&highlight=mp3 Can anyone confirm that you can actually get full track names to display off of the in-dash (not changer) CD player? It looks like you can from the last post, but the thread was abandoned. Also, can anyone confirm that CD-RW's work as well as CD-R's? |

![]() In-dash CD player, does show full file names for mp3 files (artist/song name) in i-drive when burned with proper procedure (as described in that post). I have tried this with CD-R's , dont have CD-RW to try but I am pretty sure, it should work if drive is able to read CD-RW. |

As far as I can remember, the 'detail' setting remains after switching the car on again. Just make sure you use a good quality disc. As the other thread mentions, if you have problems with skipping or drop-outs, burn at a lower speed. I'm currently using Datawrite CD-RWs at 10x to burn mp3 discs for the in-dash & CD-changer & they work fine. May try experimenting with the Tuffdisc 32x CD-RWs next. |

Gaps between MP3's
Yep i tried this process and it works - display layout between front and rear drives is still different (track numbering) and front drive still wont play WMA files though which is strange if its only a software decoder.
Has anyone come up with a working technique for avoiding gaps in playback of ![]() |
