320i e93 (n43b20) vacuum pump change
Hello e90post,
yesterday I checked a 320i cabriolet that I'm considering buying. The car has done 72k kilometres (43,5k miles) and has the N43B20 engine with 170bhp. I didn't notice any signs of an oil leak but many of the horror stories on the internet got me somewhat worried, so I thought about taking some precautions. When's the right time to change the vacuum pump to avoid major leaks on one of these? Should I do it right away? Thank you for your answers. |

Not heard of any major issues with vacuum pumps. It's only function is to create vacuum for the brake servo. I'd leave it alone...
