Mtech replica front bumper

I have a 2011 335i E92 LCI and am looking at getting an Mtech replica front bumper because the M3 replica bumper seems to require a fair bit of work, e.g., duct trimming etc. Is the Mtech replica front bumper easier to install than an M3 replica?

I just installed my M3 rep and I didn't think it was that much work. The ducts behind the fog lights were the only thing that got in the way during installation.

Mtech bumper requires trimming as well.

Okay, good to know - thanks. Might just get the M3 bumper then. Its a little cheaper and looks nicer.

If you want a lip or want to add anything "extra" then Mtech is a better option.

If your E92 is 2011+ LCI (Face lift model) the m3 rep bumper won't be an option as far as I know, they only make it for the PRE LCI (Pre Face Lifted) E92 2007-2010. Also the E92 LCI M Tech bumper kit SHOULD come with new ducting and other components along with it.

Here you go

I decided not to go for it cuz if I get it, I know I'd want to change fenders and hood as well. I don't want no more sunken $$..

Might want to reconsider using LTMW, a lot of horror stories on here about them. Just a heads up!

I have an E92 2011 LCI. Which E92 LCI M-tech bumper kits actually come with all new ducting etc.? Most of the M-tech replica bumpers come with grills and foglights so I was planning to order the ducting separately. I was looking at JGMods, SpeedElement, or M-D Brgins.

I know what you mean. I have done mostly performance and suspension upgrades up till now and am quite happy with the car. However, I hate the look of those finishing rods in the front bumper. On top of that, my left foot slipped when I was stopped in traffic with the clutch in and I bumped a truck, causing a small ding in my front bumper. So now I have an excuse to upgrade to Mtech.

Agreed, I've heard some awful stuff about them in the last year or so.
