appologese for another thread on audio. I did have a good look but it was all a bit confusing.

I am going to be installing my aftermarket head unit with the steering and sensor adapter so they still work. I'm sure you know but it comes with a live wire. Am I right in thinking I can slot this into an empty fuse slot?

Also subs..... I have a pretty new Vibe active sub I took out of my old car the other week. Don't want to put it in the boot. Pretty sure my car doesn't have the amp but has the two underseat subs. Was looking to replace them with either the MB Quartz QMW200 or the Rainbow IL-S8F. Preferably not to amp them. But don't think I would notice much difference.

Is there a detailed guide on amping the underseat subs. Is it like wiring an active sub but then speaker wire from the amp to the subs?
