Thought I'd start a new post that speaks to any version in case some is searching for a specific version. Post your request here and state what version you need (newest or older version). You'll receive a PM with the link to the version of your request (if it's still posted).

How can I tell what Daten I need? I used to have a 2008 E90 and I believe I have 50.2 currently, but I just purchased a 2010 E92 and I'm fairly certain the software is newer on the new car.

To officially answer your question, the I-Level is stored in CAS and FRM. You can read it using Tool32 with E89X.PRG command i_stufe_lesen.

If you're just trying to figure out which version you need to communicate with your car, then the latest version available is always your best option.

i am looking for the latest version for my bmw x3 e83 if that makes a difference. I cant seem to connect INPA to pull fault codes on that car.
