I will be getting a 320D mSport 184bhp.. build in July 2009. I have heard that the n47 have problems with the timing chain. But when researching I found that only the 177 and 164 bhp modles had that problem.

Is there anyone who had problems with 320d msport e90 184bhp model?.. currently 54k on the clock.

There are a couple guys from the UK that occasionally post here (or in bimmerfest in the diesel subforum there) that are more knowledgeable than any of us from the USA/CA. Most of the problems were on the M47, not newer N47. Try searching for M47 timing chain...
