Diagnosis Help: Total loss of power while driving
As the title states I was driving down the road when out of nowhere I lost all power to the car. No chimes no warnings or anything and I can't remove the keyfob from the slot in the dash. I also hooked up jumper cables to try and start it but they didn't help anything. Still no lights on the dash or anything while the cables were hooked up. I haven't had a chance to put a meter to the car to see if a have voltage anywhere at all but I will be this afternoon. Has anyone heard of anything like this before? I'm at a loss.

There was a major recall for battery terminal failure......causes what you have described. I would think most of the cars have had the recall already performed but maybe yours fell through the cracks?
