Rear Window stuck down!
Hey everyone, my rear driver side window is stuck down. I guess the regulator is toast after having it fixed 3 years ago. 2 questions for everyone.
A) How can I get the window to stay up until I get the regulator replaced? B) Anyone have experience with aftermarket regulators? Theyre 1/3 - 1/2 the price. |

You may have to remove the inner door panel to get to the window to push it back up. Once up you'll want to duct tape it shut. I was able to use a piece of 1" coolant hose and shoved it between the window and the inner door panel to keep the window up with friction.
Given how shitty the OEM regulators are, I would not hesitate to use a non-OEM one. I used an OEM regulator only because I got a really good price on it.

My rear driver side window does the same thing.
It gets stuck down but eventually comes back up. The regulator did die in the past and I had to force it up and then stick card board into the gap to hold it up. Had the regulator replaced now it's doing this ![]() |
