Another Plug-and-Play Intercooler Option

Just a heads up for those in the market to upgrade their CAC (intercooler).....I'm working with Bohl Diesel to help develop a plug-and-play kit to use the VRSF intercooler in our cars. As was referenced by one of our favorite 335D pioneers , its really a more efficient alternative to what's currently available. But not everyone can fabricate so a kit would be helpful for many. More details to come soon....

I'd like to mention, it was well known in the vw world that Wagner was a marketer of relabeled Chinese aka Godspeed intercoolers and isn't a ic manufacturer. If you look,on eBay you can find the exact same ic as Wagner for a few hundred less from the same manufactures as wagners ic.

umm Interesting thought Thecastle but I happened to know Carston Wagner and those are BOLD assumptions. Chinese manufacturers are well known in any industry to imitate anyone. With that said i purchased one of the first WAGNER ICs for our 335d and they were the ONLY ones to do so, the damn thing is heavy and even my mechanic here in Puerto Rico commended it 3 yrs ago. So to say this we would appreciate you come with links of it and i will kindly forward ti him via WHATSAPP ok.

I appologize must have been lulled by my smooth riding fsd's into a forgetful brain dead like state.

Wagner was not a reseller of a Chinese clone Ic. I mis remembered and jumbled them into the group that was.

It was spm, unitronic, Godspeed, etc. that we're all reselling the Chinese clone ics. And slapping their name on,

However there are Chinese ics for sale on eBay for our car.

I went thew 3 ics on my GTI, doing the install myself each time and logging the results. Never found a lot of difference in performance amount aftermarket ics. Not to say there wasn't a benifit to upgrading, just saying there wasn't on vws much difference between the upgraded ics.

Don't worry amigo I have come across things of that nature and made me think twice about it. I appreciate your insight and trying to keep us updated as well. I remember guys mentioning a D pipe from France and I was one who looked at it and said it cant be true I have the pipe made from Jess , btw those from France were for Euro cars.

Don't bother yet, I don't have all the details ironed out so I still have to update him.

I see you did a different connection to the turbo outlet than I did. Interesting. Curious as to more details on what's going on there and how it's connected. The OEM turbo outlet didn't seem to have a good lip setup for a clamp on mine.

Also curious as to how the tubing on the hot side, without the metal reinforcing bands, will hold up. With as hot as that outlet air can get, are you concerned about the silicon psi derating with temp and how it will hold up under boost?
