One of my tail lights has gone out. Will this LED replacement work? If not, can you recommend one, please?

I wouldn't use it in a taillight because an LED bulb doesn't have the same light distribution as a halogen bulb. It might be dimmer in the day time, which I wouldn't risk for safety reasons.
