Hey bro, I'm not too tire savvy so forgive the possible dumb question but I'm looking for some front tires and I'm interested in yours but the 225 40 19 isn't what's recommended. I'm wondering what's the difference from 225 35 19?

Are they thicker? I'm not sure what the middle number represents.

Middle number represents the percent of the width (here it's 225) the sidewall is in height. These numbers are in millimeters though.

225mm x 0.35 = 78.75 mm (sidewall height)
225mm x 0.40 = 90.00 mm

Difference is 11.25 mm or 0.4 inches. Not a huge difference, but one nonetheless. Thanks!
