FS: RB turbos

Hey guys,

I will have used pair of RB turbos available for purchase soon.

They have done around 20,000km and are in good condition with zero wastegate rattle, zero sirening, use little to no oil and only exhibit a little bit of exhaust smoke from time to time according to the owner.

He is looking for $2.5K ONO to put towards the purchase of new Pure Stage 2 turbos.

I can arrange to have both CHRA's refurbished locally with genuine MHI re-build kits upon request at an additional cost.

Cheers,

Justin.

I somehow don't think these are for sale anymore?

If you want cheap turbos look at the Hexons

I'm getting a set.

same - im also looking very closely at the Hexons. so far all reviews, feedback etc have been pretty positive and they seem to do everything in-house. I have been chatting to Justin (Advan) about them as well.

Are ordering directly from Hexon?

I'm working with hexon to setup a distributer here in Sydney who will keep an inventory (cant disclose as of yet). Not ordering yet, im waiting for the 750's to be released which should be before chrissy. Depending on how quickly they spool up I may consider them instead of the 550's.

Sorry mate, I missed your post.

No these are not sold.

I believe I will be looking at around $1,200 to have them rebuilt using a genuine MHI rebuild kit, with both turbo cartridges being VSR balanced.

Cheers,

JD.

I believe the owner of the turbos has found a buyer in Melbourne, but I have another customer in Sydney who is also swapping out RB's for Pure Stage 2's in the next 1-2 weeks.

I don't actually know what plans he has for the RB's as yet, but I'll speak to him and let you know.
