Is VW just the first to found out ?

So VW has been getting around the exhaust emission regs with a bit of crafty software. 1.2 million VAG cars to be recalled in UK alone.

But were VW the only ones at it ? Or will others (eg BMW and Mercedes) be found to have been naughty as well ? Time will tell I guess.
