FS: (PRICE DROP AGAIN) Rear View Camera Emulator for CIC WITH PDC
I waited weeks for this to come and didn't realize that it was for vehicles WITH PDC. Avoid waiting weeks like i did. I do not have PDC so it doesn't serve any purpose to me. I also bought an extra harness to make this project as much plug and play as possible. I have tested the emulator and it does indeed supply the camera with 12vdc, so the emulator is 100% working. Your car will need to be coded to get this to work. I coded my car myself with help from some members but I'm sure you can also find someone that can code it for you if your not up to it. The parameters that need to be changed can also be found in a thread floating around. The emulator is soldered to the harness already. There are no bent pins. All that needs to be done is... 1. Connect the white wire to the (+) lead of YOUR camera. I bought a trunk handle camera for like $30 on ebay and the video cable had a power lead on it so only had to run 1 wire. 2. Connect the video (+) and (-). The harness has a pigtail which I already have pinned correctly. Just connect the video feed or put a RCA pigtail to the leads i have coming out of the harness already and connect the video feed to that. I am selling this setup as is for $90. I will cover shipping in the states.. You can text me at 5one6 7two6 03zero8 for a quicker response. It will include the harness, emulator, some crimp connectors and a schematic which can be found online, created by forum member gzres. Last edited by kormega917; 01-27-2016 at 01:06 PM.. Sorry to use your thread to sell my camera, but if you buy kormega917's module it is a great combo for you. I am including a wiring diagram to help people understanding how it works.
I got this license plate light + camera laying around and I am willing to let it go for $10 + shipping. The camera is 400 TVL quality, not wide angle, with parking assist line but it is fixed and does not move with your steering wheel. |

Nice ckegg. Someone can have this setup for a GREAT price. The video cable has the red power line to connect to the white wire of the emulator i spoke about before so it is only one wire to run up to the front. I used the passenger side for my setup. Thanks for attaching the PDF diagram, that is what i used and it was very helpful.

I couldn't get it and I'm 2013 e92. I had my coding checked by 2 other ppl and I couldn't get it. Emulator would supply power to cam but my screen wouldn't switch. In any case I have moved on and don't need this anymore. My loss someone else's gain. Hope someone will get good use out of this bc it's just sitting on a box here.
