Will RWD m-paket springs and shocks fit xDrive chassis ? (e91)

Hi guys, did some searching to no avail....

Anyone ever tried/heard of/read to replace OEM xdrive shocks+springs with OEM m-paket ones (RWD, -15mm, stiffer both springs and shocks)?

I am told this definitely won´t be a straight PnP, nonetheless such a swap might be technically feasible....

I wouldn´t expect any (serious if ever any) issues with rear setup (upon my beliefs, rear ends of AWD and RWD do not differ a bit)

The crucial questions are front-axle related: will the m-paket shocks and springs fit dimensionally ? (shocks lenght, springs nests size/shape, springs shape/lenght/outer diameter....)

Any comments/thoughts/experience welcome.

Thanks.

PS: E91 330i x e91 MY2011 EU specs.

PPS: Sways already swapped to stiffer UUC ones. This spring gave in KW V1 (-25mm front, -20mm rear), but having covered some 30k kms since, the KW shocks are (almost) gone.... so I am looking for a something stiffer and low, but in OEM-like durability range....

Springs will fit in front, shocks will not. IMHO you're better off with something like Konis Yellows anyway.

shocks will not
Any details known? What differs?

Ref Koni and other aftermarket brands: lost (almost) all trust.... prior to KW´s been running OEM shocks .... after 150k kms were in (by far) better shape than these KW´s after 30k kms...

Well, just a hypothesis: will yellow Koni´s fit (dimensionally) to those m-paket springs? (both fronts and rears)

I assume you mean M-sport (ZSP) and not M3 springs.

The front hub receiver where the bottom of the strut goes in is different AWD vs RWD, to clear the front axles. As are the control arms, tension struts, sway bars etc. The shape of the front springs top and bottom are identical, as are their footprints in the upper/lower spring perch, ie anything spring-wise fits RWD fits AWD.

Rear ends are basically the same AWD vs RWD. So yes m-sport springs fit XI Koni's F&R. True M3 springs do not fit in front however.

Please use search, this topic is discussed extensively.
