KW V3 Adjustment When installed?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is away to adjust all three parameters of the KW V3's when they are installed on the car. I am looking to install mine very soon and want to know how you guys get to the top adjustments after the coils are installed? I hope that I don't need to remove the coilovers every time I want to adjust them.

Thanks

I cut holes in my trunk/fender lining and put some rubber caps over them. I recall the rubber caps were already there but I simply cut the hole bigger to get my hand in there to adjust the top.

The front rebound is easy to do just undo the strut bar and lift it up. The dampening can be done on the rear with the tires still on...just jack it up. Front dampening just remove the wheel.

This is assuming you have the dial clickers in your dampening. I have V3's on my 335xi and do exactly as above.

PS...adjusting the ride height just need to have the car jacked up and wheels off to turn the collars. Rear collars can stick to the spring and turn at the same time. I use an oil filter channel lock wrench/plyer and hold the perch and use the spanner to turn the collar. Piece of cake.

Thanks for that! Could you share pics of how you cut your trunk lining ?
