How to clean inner sunroof slider roof

Hey guys,

So im having trouble being able to get to the roof part of the inside section of the sunroof in my car to clean it.

It looks like there is dried dirty water up there and if you look through the sunroof glass onto this panel its really ugly.

The trouble is when the sunroof glass goes back, it pulls that slider back with it.

Does anyone know of a way to open the sunroof glass, but pull the inner material cover forward to wipe the top?

i would be interested to know this too... i noticed the same marks on the slider the other day

Wayyyy to much time on your hands, I haven't looked at mine...

I'm 6 foot 6, I see it very clearly every time I get into my car, it's ugly to look at, especially after a wash.

I have looked into it before because I want to change the seal around the sunroof.
I don't have the link at the moment but you can try searching "replacing sunroof"?
