NGK 5992 discontinued ?

Like the title says, i was looking into getting the NGK for my next plug change and i couldnt find them in the NGK website. I went through my parts guy to try and find them, he called NGK and they said it's discontinued and they replaced them with NGK 5118. i have these here but i'm sceptical.. They use a regular socket too not the 12 point one with bosh and Oem plugs. Anyone has an idea about this ?

Not discontinued...look harder. Make sure you gap correctly..

Seems like it was changed to another part #

Superseding Part Number: NGK 95770 ILZKBR7B8DG

Not sure but that's the same one various other sites are also saying the new part # is

Yea .. Pretty confused at this point. The 5992 is nowhere to be found here and everyone says a different thing.

We should have a sticky for the spark plugs available for the N54 and any updates that come along..

NGK has changed their part number for these plugs to 95770
