What sensors are needed for inlets

Hey Guys,

This whole n20 TMAP sensor and maxboost adapter thing has really confused me.

I am fbo on e60 with custom tune by wedgeperformance using MHD. I just got inlets and wanted to know which sensor I need to safely log higher boost.

Do I just order the maxboost adapter? Or do I order the TMAP sensor too? Really confused at the moment. I will eventually get upgraded turbos too. So keep that in mind.

Can someone simply explain which sensor(s) I need ?

Much appreciated!

I believe the max boost plugs into the 3.5 bar adaptor, so you'll need both.

Heel Toe is correct, the max boost allows the use of the t map sensor so both are required if you are Flash only MHD!

Are these needed if your running stock turbos. I always thought running anything over 20psi would damage the turbos.

these are needed if you want to boost over 21psi.

doesnt matter if you are on stock turbos or not. Now if you want to boost over 21psi on stock turbos, thats up to you, but it isnt recommended.

Buy the N20 sensor online. The maxboost device comes with the harness to plug in the TMAP.

With just the N20 sensor, you can run 22.5 psi. Which is plenty with inlets.
