Weekend Detailing (WARNING JDM Content)
This isn't BMW related but thought I'd share some pics
(taken with my phone, not the best quality) It'd been about a year since this car came for a detail, the paint was in ok condition, a few swirls and a bit of hazing but it's hard to tell on a white car. Early morning start, looked like it was gonna be a nice day... After the wash: (you can see that the reflections are slightly hazy) First polish to fix light swirls and hazing. Aaaaand... It rained on my car... You can tell he keeps his car clean, sorry about the legs they're not mine lol. Polishing exhaust tips with Nautica shirts work well ![]() Didn't get any more pics along the way but here are some after the whole 8 step process... The sun was going down by the time I was done... He was very impressed with the wet look on the ~15 year old white paint. The front bar is badly in need of a respray (some areas where the clear coat is peeling) but I did the best I could with it. Nice job mate, love the wet look. Great use for a Nuatica shirt too ; )

S15? I had an S14 back in the day, wouldn't mind another S chassis as a project car.
19" Meisters S1 3P, 235 front 265 rear... unfortunately the wheels are a bit wide so the tires look stretched which isn't the look I was going for. I'll have to get 275 or 285 on the rear after these wear out. Last edited by kOncept; 10-30-2015 at 12:03 AM.. |
