Windshield wiper problems

Hey Everyone,

So this is quite strange. My windshield wipers turn on and cycle for 4 cycles and then stop. I keep pressing the lever on the steering wheel and nothing happens...no water spraying, no movement nothing.

Once I cut the car off and restart, the wipers start up and do the same thing above.

Any idea regarding what could be wrong?

do they stop on the parking position or randomly on the windshield?

did you check/replace the relay for the wipers?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm having the same issue as described above. When i hit the stalk down (for one swipe), it'll swipe five times, then stop randomly anywhere on the windshield. After about two pushes of the stalk it'll stop working altogether. I tried changing the relay and no luck. Any thoughts?

str86 that happened to me.. the windshield had a leak and was killing my JBE so i had to get a new one

check if your JBE is working properly
