Winter tire/wheel for 335 xdrive

Hi guys
Can someone recommend I nice inexpensive set up for a e90 335 msport ? I'm not interested in keeping staggered set up- just a basic square all around set up -

Was wondering any nice wheel design/ company to order from

A relative has. Nice suburban selling for 5500 I'm contemplating not getting it for a winter beater and just doing winter wheel set up

Just go to tire rack and get a cheap 17" wheel set-up. I ran a 2010 335i sedan in there real quick. 225/45R17's were $1200 with shipping for 4 General Altimax Artic's with TPMS sensors on some cheap wheels. Only thing to keep in mind is that those are
Q speed rated for 99mph max.

For $80 more there's Continental Wintercontacts with are H rated for 130mph and will be better on dry roads.

When I ran my ta or mustangs in the snow or I should say got caught In snow- it was pretty bad but again they were rwd

I'm a huge fan of this wheel. I bought a complete 17" winter wheel/tire package from Tire Rack. Easy to clean, made in Germany and hold up real well to salt and brine.

Wheel weight shouldn't be a primary factor in choices for winter wheels.

Gary, a quick question, i have oem 17s for winter all 225 45 17. Rear wheels however are 8.5in wide and fronts are 8. Can i safely swap rears and fronts? Fronts have a lot more tread. Thanks.
