E92 335i Front Lip

I recently bought this front lip for my E92 335:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-10-BMW-E9...s=Model%3A335i

Now the issue that I'm facing is that, the lip came with 4 screws but no instructions, there are no holes in it. My plan was to just drill in the holes, but even with that, the lip itself isn't long enough to reach the bolts on the OEM Bumper. How would I put this bumper on? I bought some 3M Double Sided Tape, but is that enough? I want to bolt it on but not sure how it's possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

Buy some self tapping screws and screw it on (create your own tapping points). No tape needed unless you want some extra protection.

I recommend using 3m double sided on the top that's going to hug the front and top of your bumper and self tap screws + speed clips on the bottom. Than way you have a snug fit and are protected from it flying off or creating gaps down the road.

I would use the tape period. First, no holes. Second, it's strong as heck. You'll rip your bumper off before it comes loose. I had a C4 corvette and put small fender flares around the rear wheels with just the tape. I put all my body weight on them and nothing happened. I was 285 lbs at the time.

ah got it. so with self tapping screws, I'm pretty much making my own holes. Am I doing that on the car as well? just drilling my own holes at the bottom of the car with these self tapping screws? The lip came with them, I just wasn't sure whether I can use them anywhere underneath the car.

Anywhere you don't drill into non bumper material, but again, use the tape too. No gaps and 100 times stronger than screws. First parking lot curd you hit with screws and you'll be picking up your splitter.

Shit eh, Appreciate the advice man. I think I'm just gonna go with the Tape only then. I just don't want to drill my own holes in to my OEM Bumper. I want the bumper clean and stock looking even after I take the lip off. I am only putting this lip on temporary, eventually I plan on getting a M3 Replica Bumper. Besides, I didn't know the 3M Tape is that strong. Any advice you recommend while using the tape?

make sure you use enough. i used 3m for my cf performance spoiler and it has been holding like a champ for the past year plus. i can literally pop my truck and pull up on it by the spoiler. thats how strong it is. make sure you clean both surfaces well. use dawn soap to remove any wax residue,etc.. make sure you put firm pressure on the lip all around where it sticks to the bumper to allow the tape to set. also set your car in the sun to help it firmly stick as well. Don't go half ass on the tape. i used the red 3m autobody mounting tape

As above. Pressure makes it work. Make sure it's warm too. Garage if it's cold where you are. Sets 100% after a day.

It's not bad quality at all. I just installed it. Had to bolt it on, not gonna lie, the fitment is very tight. I really do like it though, makes the car look aggressive as hell. It was either this one or the M-tech Lip, which looked too much like the stock one so I went with this one. I'll post some pics once the snow melts here in Calgary.

Sure thing, do keep in mind that it looks a bit different than the photos on the ad. I can send you some photos if you want.
