Side View Mirrors Stuck Folded In **HELP**

Never even knew I had power side view mirrors until tonight (have had the car for a few years now). I held the key fob door open button down to open all of my windows remotely and apparently that's when my side view mirrors folded in completely. I'm now in my car and they remained folded in. I can manually push them out but they only lock into position when they're completely folded in or pushed completely forward towards the front of the car. I've tried opening/closing the door, turned the car on/off multiple times and am stumped. Does anyone have any pointers on how to get them realigned?

And how the heck haven't I know that these are power folding mirrors??? I've never seen them fold in before on my car. #Mindblown

Have you tried just hitting the button to open them? It's the circular button on your driverside arm rest, above the window switches.

They only fold if you push the button.

Or

If you code your car to have them fold when you lock the car. (Not all ECU are compatible with this coding feature).

I fold my mirrors everytime I park.

Ha! It's hilarious to think that I never even cared to bother checking whether I had power mirrors. The little button didn't work, but when I started driving they moved back to normal position within 30 seconds.

Unrelated, but my drivers side mirror has always been slightly "off". It's always been pushed out just a tad too far. Now that I discovered the power mirrors I followed instructions on realigning them and it is completely good to go. **facepalm**

Thanks all for your help.
