First pic of my new E92!

Paid a visit to the dealers today as I knew my car was there - it was a bit boxed in so difficult to get a decent photo but I am very pleased with how its looking:

Name: P2230052 edited plate.jpg
Views: 553
Size: 142.1 KB

I was not expecting my car to have the sharkfin so was very pleased to see it . I don't have sat nav or bluetooth so I assume it is for the DAB digital radio???

I can't wait for next week!!!

EDIT: I am trying to download photo editing software to re-size my picture - sorry it does not look great in the post

Sorry, I forgot to say your car looks very nice Snooky. I assume it's Sparkling Graphite? Mine looks that colour under artificial lights.

Looking good snooky, and glad you got the shark fin too

DAB is worth the money, quality is superb and it tells you names of songs etc

Are you having supagard put on?

Thanks SDRX. Re Supaguard - I had a bad experience on my last car. I got my Mark V Golf GTI (Diamond Black) Supaguard-ed and it was the most disappointing swirly effect paintjob that I have ever seen and no amount of elbow grease in the two years I had the car could sort it.

No Supaguard on this one for me!

Nice, the rear diffuser goes really well with the paint colour- not long to wait now

Hopefully they'll get the missing numbers and letters on the number plate before you collect

LOL Gordon. My lack of technical skills are apparant to all given the gi-normous size of the photo in this thread - I was very pleased with my number plate masking work!!!!

Cheers James. I would love to have a go in your motor sometime - a nice drive from Scotland to one of the e90post meets sounds good (albeit I cannot make UK5 ). I will need to get used to the stock 335i power before I think of power mods - my GTi was the fastest car I have owned to date and my test drive was ina 330i so I am not sure what to expect!!

Will find out next week though

Snooky, not long to wait now until you get to drive your new BMW. I am sure you are going to enjoy the power of the 335i especially on some of the fantastic driving roads around Scotland.

Have you gone manual or auto?

I have gone for manual Gibbo. I have never had an auto (although was very tempted by VW's DSG box). I am sure I will graduate to auto at some point but I do like being in control. I also prefer the look/feel of the manual gear knob in the BMW.

Seriously can't wait now!

Thanks for al the nice comments folks. I hope to master this photo posting thing by next week so I can upload some decent shots.

wow so jealous, i miss the wait for the new car, its the feeling.

i picked mine up June last year, (was new) I would of liked to have taken delivery on 1st March, but BMW feature updates (eg 6 buttons, usb) clash with the UK new plate dates! (not that that was a reason - i had to wait 12 weeks) don't think there has been any updates for March 2008?

you will be astounded by the power and torque mate, it knocks even the R32 for six
