2010 e90 retrofit DAB
Hi guys,
Owned my e90 for a few years now and its great but I really want to install DAB. I have the SE Business edition with idrive ect. I believe you can plug the DAB unit into the boot and use the cable which is in place for the CD Changer (i have checked that this is there and it is). I think i will also have to replace the aerial amplifier module for one with a dab connection and then run a cable between the two and finally get the car coded to enable a cd changer. Has anyone on here done this that could give me some pointers ect? I really don't want to use a retrofit kit that has separate remotes/ ariels. Thanks in advance for any help, much appreciated! |

Can't be done with a 2010 business Nav.... you need a business Nav with dab built in or get an after market kit.
The lci navs are not compatible with external oem dab modules |

Kufatec Fistune will tie into the CD changer for power and "audio"
Uses the iDrive, so no remotes, but you'd have to put up with a stick on or external antenna. Mike |
