Heated mirrors not working

Anyone had this before? Neither mirror heated up this morning when it was -2 outside. Local BMW Indy suggests replacing the mirror glass , £80 & vat each though.

Just this morning...? Could it be the battery is the issue. Cold days, cold battery, less than fully charged, loosing capacity. Mirrors are on the energy management clocking list.

Worth considering, unless you are definitely sure the heater elements have gone.

Thanks Pete, I think I've found the issue. I changed a few settings using the Carly app but since changing back they appear to be getting warm although haven't had any more frost yet to check.
