True Religion

Anyone ever get jeans from them?

Expensive, but the quality is amazing IMO.

Today they're having 40% for Black Friday.

Might have to stock up

No way! Stay away, those were cool like 10 years ago when patches on pockets were cool and Ed Hardy ruled the world. Unless you're living on Jersey Shore don't do it.

Get yourself some clean, no patches, no heavy stitching, NO BOOTCUT regular straight leg Deisel jeans. You can find them for around $80-$150 depending on what website you search but they are amazing quality. The Jean material is thin and comfortable, has room to let the jewels breathe.

Or go to any number of men's guide sites like GQ or Mens Health and read up on what's hot today. Usually they will have the $300 Jean but also the affordable variant as well.

^ Yup, all those jeans from the early 2000's. I remember my favorite was the Rock N Republic boot cut in Oxycoton. Those were legit, even after the pop up Jean designer fad wore off there was a huge following of that particular jean. On eBay used they were selling for more than they cost new!

Now Kohls sell them all. RR, True Religion, Paper Denim, Seven, Chip and Pepper, man, the good old days.

Agreed, although Kohls sells a brand called Seven that is cheap and not at all related to 7 For All Mankind... 7 and J Brand are a couple of the survivors.

Stupid pockets in the back...
Huge buttons on the back pockets...
Huge heavy stitching...
That huge stupid tag on the back..
Overall ugly colours and designs...

I always wondered how someone could like this ugly looking crap and pay $300 for it.
Sometimes I see guys wearing this, and I always ask myself what the hell were you thinking when you decided to buy them.

Oh an No jeans are worth $300

Agreed. Only person I know who wears them is a metro (closet) has-been financial analyst who is now a dead broke bartender.

Following fashion trends is a huge mistake unless you're single and on the prowl. Be yourself, always and without fail.

For example, I have always had a thing for bitters, been told for years i was an old man and suddenly bitters are in fashion as of about a year ago.

I've had the same pair of GAP jeans for 12 years, they still do the job just fine (if getting a touch though).

I wear almost exclusively Levis now. I had written them off as "dad jeans" for a long time, but they're cheap, comfortable, and no frills.

I made a thread about "jeans" this past summer.

I am a VERY fashionable guy by admission and have a pretty large and versatile wardrobe. However, I draw the line on over paying for denim. Until this year in fact, I would never adorns me than $100 for a pair. Until I tried on a pair of Joe's and Mavi @ $150 from Nordstrom regular priced but I grabbed them on sale for $130 & $90. Extremely comfy and great looking!
True Religion are waaaaaaay overpriced and a tad gaudy for my tastes. BUT, whatever works for your individual tastes, it's all good.

True Religion all the way!
I have 5 pairs, best jeans ever!
You don't have to get the ones with the patches.
They have some really sleek and toned down versions as well. The quality and craftmenship will always be there... And they fit perfect!!

Gustin, Nudie, APC, and the like are worlds apart from True Religions and they likely cost the same, or less.
