Shipping a hood
I need to get a hood from Houston to Austin; has anyone had a good experience shipping? I don't own a truck, and renting one for two days plus gas will hit around $150. Seems like I could ship for that and save myself two days worth of effort.
I'd also be willing to pay anyone willing to bring it to Austin, if anyone's interested.

Houston to Austin and back is a one day trip. I dont think a hood would ship for less than $150 even that short of a distance. But i have no experience with shipping so probably am no help.

I don't mind the drive, but I have nothing that can fit the hood in it, requiring the rental. I don't do a there and back in one day drive - fuck that. Rather crash with a buddy and come back the next day.
