VIDEO INSIDE: I worry my inlets may get wet

I'd like to purchase precision race works inlets. HOWEVER I have a carbon fiber VENTED hood. And one of the vents looks like it might be over the inlets.
Can anyone confirm?

If the filter is sitting right under they will get wet. I would at least install a suspended shield under the vents.

Thats kind cool, cause you intaking the cold air coming from that vent lol.

Rain guard is what you might need, or what three said, a shield

Sucks cause I really want inlets without a rain guard. I may be forced to get rb inlets@the stock location.

My next thought was using water resistant pre-filters.

I think a simple email to them asking for the size of the filter would be all you need.

I have the same hood and MMP inlets. I just got the KN dry charger and put it over the filter... will post pics shortly. But in California we don't have snow, but I drove through heavy rain, car washes, touch less and regular and so far it's been fine

Thank you for the coming pics. Do you know what size the KN dry charger filter "net" was?

I have VRSF inlets. And M3 vented hood. I just covered my vents lol. And here is my expansion tank relocation. Your gonna need brackets and a longer hose which should be provided in the inlet kit.
