N55 E9X Turbo to FMIC Pipe

It loooks like the F30 guys 2012+ have the last piece of the cold piping completely replaced.

Are there any vendors making a similar pipe for an e92?

Kyle

We need this. I'm going to attempt to make one when installing my Pure Stage 2. This is a spot prone to leaks.

We'll see what happens. PT says the turnaround time on the turbo is around a month. It'll be a while before I can get started.

I think I have a small boost leak at this connection and would love a different solution.

I had a leak in mine at the turbo and had to replace the oring. BMW doesn't sell it as a separate part but I used part #11618506782 from the F30 -- It isn't an exact replica but it works for the turbo side oring

Maybe we can get some momentum going and a builder can make some for us. Kinda crazy imo that pure is the only one making inlets. At 20+psi we really should avoid the thin plastic tubing.

I am also interested. I bet Tiago at VRSF could make it happen.

Used hose clamps to tighten them, works well.

Only if someone else does it first so he can rip off the design.

I note that Pure has offered a Turbo inlet pipe for quite a while. People have complained about the cost (since each one is individually machined by hand) and yet VRSF doesn't offer one.

Pure offers the turbo inlet pipe not the hot side turbo to intercooler pipe.

Understood. I have one. Looking for the hot side outlet to FMIC pipe which no one makes.

Do you guys know if silicone tubing would withstand the temps involved here? I think it's usually good to around 400 degrees or so but is that just for short durations / small number of heat cycles.

I would want something more than silicone tubing personally. I'm sure someone will make one eventually. I recall reading a thread like this a few months ago and Tiago said he may be working on something. If he makes one I would be buying it from him since I bought his intercooler.

I am thinking about ditching the ER chargepipe for the VRSF one because of the poor fitment between the ER chargepipe and the VRSF lower chargepipe.

I would prefer aluminum over silicone.
