Hello everybody,

Which would be better for my 2007 e92 BMW 335i, a rear sway bar only, a front sway bar only, or a front and rear sway bar. I would like my car to Handle the best it can!

all depends where you are starting from:

If you are completely stock, something like this order would be recommended:

1. Improved dampers, like Koni or Bilstein (with an e92, assuming rwd, this would be Koni Yellow or Bilstein B8.)
2. If you want to drop it lower than stock sport, then BMW performance springs or H&R/Eibach springs or you start down the higher dollar path and go with coilovers. That is another world altogether and you will have to start researching. Popular options are Bilstein, Ohlins, KW.
3. Then M3 control arms for the front and remove the strut pin to max negative camber.
4. Then M3 arms and subframe bushings for the rear. Can also do Dinan or Monroe top rsb to remove some bounce.
5. Then front sway bar, an e93 M3 bar is recommended. This is the stiffest oem bar. There are also aftermarket bars.
6. Then a LSD for your differential.
7. Then a M3 rear sway bar.

How much bigger the the m3 front sway e93? I believe the e92 m3 front sway is 26 right? completely solid vs. ours which thins out in the middle?

The m3 e93 front sway bar is heavier and thicker compared to stock. Do a search, the exact amounts are well documented. I think a better choice is to go aftermarket for swaybars as you can get both front and rears for the price of just the m3 e93 front sway bar. I went with ECS Tuning's house branded sway bars.

If you really want your car to handle the best it can then get an LSD. The M3 control arms and lowering the car will also improve handling. Sway bars are the last thing you should consider.

The list posted in this thread is excellent - consider going step by step down the list.

If you do only one upgrade, get an LSD. Expensive, but it will help put power to the ground.

It is 28MM, about 30 percent stiffer than stock.

Under #4, can you give me an example of the subframe bushing for the rear? Which upgrade part is this again?

For #4 there are both aftermarket and oem BMW M3 subframe bushings.

Do a search of this subsection using the word "bushings". I did it about a year ago when I was doing research. There are LOTS of options.

BMW Sport Springs / Performance Springs **
Koni FSD Shocks
M3 Rear Subframe Bushings

** Sport Springs are part of the factory Sport suspension - if you got that you only need the shocks - FSD's are designed specifically for those springs

You'll like your no-longer-pothole-exploding ride and suddenly, your rear's not dislocated.

Now look into a LSD....
