New springs, understeer

Fitted Eibach sportline springs to my e90 MSPORT about 2 weeks ago and noticed the car understeers alot more on hard cornering.
What can I do to eliminate this?

Assuming everything is in proper order(tire pressures, tire condition etc):
I would start with knocking out pins and max out your front camber. Get an alignment and don't over-do rear camber and with toe settings to minimize understeer.
Also assess how you are driving your car. Understeer can be induced.

If you still find unwanted u/steer consider hardware changes:
Square tire set up
M3 front control arms for more camber
Larger rear anti sway bar(a loaded suggestion... I am sure others will chime in)

PS which model do you have? I ask because if your front spring rates are too high(for a larger/heavier engine) then it will increase your front end roll stiffness = increased understeer.

It's a 325i
I didn't know there was so much to it, there is slight camber on the rear wheels but the fronts are completely straight, what do you mean by knocking out pins?

The alignment pins for front struts - removing allows up to -1.5° camber.

But...hold up! When springs installed, was the vehicle aligned? Be aware that if you change ride height, you change camber, which changes toe front & rear. Being as front camber's not adjustable on a 3, toe would prob be outta spec. That results in tire wear and handling issues!

And another thing: Are your shocks matched to your springs?????? Dude, that's a serious question and you should be sure. If you don't know why, Google is your very, very good friend.

I never had the vehicle aligned after as the car hardly dropped in height and the steering is perfectly straight still,
im using the original Msport shocks

Larry original msport dampers probably won't last too long with the eibach sportline springs. If I were you I would invest in a set of Koni yellows or bilstein B8, get an alignment and enjoy your new superhandling car!

You have some work to do. As Eibach's come in many spring rates, shocks can be completely inadequate.

Match shocks to travel + spring rate for your car. A call to Ground Control can solve that problem.....Yellows might be best....lifetime guarantee; rebuildable.

Yup, lowering the car without an alignment will increase toe out. It will make the car behave different from what you are used to. Start with an alignment. The pins they are talking about are the little silver knobs on the shock mount. THere is a tiny hex head socket in them, but it will just strip. Knock them out with either a chisle or clamp on with vicegrips and pull them out. You can get a bit more camber by loosening the three strut mount bolts and sliding them in towards the center of the car. The slots the mount studs are in are slotted just for that.

A 325i must be an 06, I have to guess it has more than 60,000 miles - your shocks are definitely cooked, and cannot keep up with that extra spring rate.

As other have mentioned, alignment is very crucial as well. With at least -.75 in the front, no more than -1.5 rear all other specs for toe and caster oem you should have a very very neutral car on the street.
