Is there an extended warranty for wastegate rattle in Canada?

Hi, I was wondering if this problem has been issued an extended warranty within Canada, or if you still have to pay when its out of warranty.

I tried myself at a couple dealers to talk about the warranty and they both said they've "never heard of it"

Thats the same thing that happened to me when I tried calling one today actually, but then when I searched I read something about a recall so I wasn't too sure

I asked BMW Victoria and they flat out said no. The HPFP is covered but the turbos aren't. If you need to replace them both, I was quoted $8,000.

That's when I bought the 328i.

thats funny, i called last week, same response on warranty, but was quote $5900
