Koni rear shock destroyed, what to replace with?

Hi all, so one of my rear Koni's has decided to kill itself & dump all it's oil, gas and internals.

So looking for recommendations on what replace them with and where to get them from? I have Koni top adjustables and Eibach springs all round.

Cheers

Jim

Would it not be cheaper to just replace the ones on the rear with the same as opposed to all 4 (unless you plan to run different front/rear setups)?

Yep went & replaced with more of the same (Koni Sport Yellows) so I can keep the adjustability and match what's up front.

Got a pair from Larkspeed for £198 including delivery & lifetime warranty.

Cool, exactly what I would have done. I like the Koni yellows. Had them on a few of my previous cars.

Does Koni have a lifetime warranty in the UK?

You might want to send them a picture on Facebook or through their website and see if they can help.

Not certain that they do, I think Koni's warranty is two years; Larkspeed warranty them for life themselves, being an authorised dealer. Eitherway, (according to Larkspeed who checked with Koni for me), any warranty only applies to the original purchaser and it was the previous owner that bought them. Might still take photo's and send to Koni just for info as the shock is completely fvcked, to the point where the damper rod is just flapping about doing nothing!

So replaced the rear shocks last night & all the suspension rubbers/mounts etc as well. Here's a pic of the failed unit....it's not pretty.

looks like the circlip that holds the top of the damper together has rusted away.
